Catherine Cohen and I were supposed to do an interview for Paper Magazine a few years ago. It didn’t happen. But we kept emailing each other and trying to make plans to meet. That didn’t happen either. Until one night last May, at a party, there we were. On separate ends of the room. Me flirting with her boyfriend in an attempt to get her attention.
