Alex, some people VISIT the country of poetry but it seems to me you’ve just set up a tent there and are roughing it in the wilderness of lyric 🙈 Love your work, is this what it feels like to be living in the time of Kerouac Ginsberg etc. ??? O’Hara????? Please. Your scraps are thrilling testaments to your commitments to life! THANK YOU!!!

Alex - I just found you. I'd never read your poems before. This poem is the first I read - I love it, as a whole and all it's little parts. It's funny that I should read it today, the anniversary of Albert Hofmann first synthesizing LSD, and also the great Terence Mckenna's birthday. I think they would love your poem, too. Thanks for sharing. Oh, also, so many pretty words for cannabis! I hope you find one you like.
